Following the success of their debut production of La Bohème, Opera Bohemia, Scotland’s dynamic new opera company, returns with Donizetti’s Lucia di Lammermoor. Walter Scott’s tragic love story, set in a troubled Scotland, is reinvented in this exciting new production.

Suzanne Shakespeare returns to Opera Bohemia, following performances as Queen of the Night at the Sydney Opera house. Although of Scottish heritage, Shakespeare was brought up in Australia. With the recent loss of Australian superstar Joan Sutherland, it is fitting that Shakespeare will sing the role which made Sutherland famous back in the 1950s.
